Blogaholics Anonymous

I don’t know if you’ve heard, but there is this new phenomena called “blogs.”  Apparently, it is a type of online journal about all types of subjects.

Ok, ok… so, they’re not “new.”  They are yet another bandwagon that I am late on.  I don’t think I’ve ever been on time for a bandwagon.  I was early for one once, but it never showed up.

As is normal for me, I have been obsessively “collecting” blogs that I read, and thought I would share my faves with you.

They fall into two general categories:  Dogs…and makeup-beauty-fashion-decor-related.  When I started writing this blog, a friend said I should write about more serious and weighty topics, to which I said, fuck that!  That’s what I do in my real life.  This is my escape.

So first, the dog blogs.  In no particular order:

Phew…that’s alot.  I’m going to do a separate post about my make-up obsession blogs later.

In the meantime, let’s all meditate on this lovely photo.

uh oh

I don’t even know where to begin.  Let’s start with her age.  She is 40.  And yet…she is dressing like a 16 year old ho-bag from Jersey City.  The old Jersey City…not the new Yuppie-ville.  It seems like every year older she gets, her choice of outfits gets younger and younger…and tighter and tighter.  It’s beginning to look garish.

I’m thinking she ought to stop selling that stanky perfume and start selling mirrors, because the ones she has in her home must be some magic mirror.  We’re not talking just a “skinny mirror,” we’re talking a “skinny, young and hip” mirror.  And yes, I would definately buy one.
